Asking why anybody would take their own life, no matter race, sex, age etc is not easy to answer. All I know is a very close friend of mine fights daily with suicide. Every day. The voices in her head make living almost intolerable. And yes, she is on medication for it.

We who have no voices screaming inside our heads continuously, have no idea what it is like. I mourn these people. I truly do.

How do they describe it? Is it like thoughts, you know when you consciously think of something in your head, like when someone is pissing you off and you think in your head - man I'd love to just smear your face in dog poo.... Is that the same as voices? We all think to ourselves in our minds and think of things, but is that the same as voices - cuz we are hearing what we are thinking - so to speak?
