Bicyclist Crossing Intersection Crushed by Cement Truck in NY
On Tuesday, D.F., 28, a sculpture and video artist, was riding her bicycle into the intersection of Bushwick Avenue and Boerum Street in Brooklyn around 12:20pm. As she cycled onto the pedestrian crosswalk, a cement truck traveling eastbound on Boerum Street collided into her. The driver of the truck, A.V., 70, stayed at the scene until police arrived, according to the New York Post. No charges have been filed so far. An investigation is ongoing. |

Looked like the truck had a green light. Idiot on bike assumes that it is safe to proceed because she is female, and a liberal (otherwise she would be in a car like any self respecting conservative would be) and therefore has the right of way at all times and is never in the wrong. The nose ring is also a dead giveaway.
