How can they even hold a head like that, I would be disgusted. This is a serious question, can somebody please answer and tell me how their mind can bring them to do that and hold the head like it is some worthless soccer ball.

many of these fellows are exposed to this kind of violence at a very young age. they've practically grown up around everyday shootings, bombings, killing, all of that. it's second nature, followed by pure hatred. their world is a hellish place.

The way it was explained to me is that the goal of every muslim should be to emulate the life of their prophet Muhammad to the greatest degree possible. It is historical fact that Muhammad carried out hundreds of beheadings with his own hands. Therefore, to behead is to be like Muhammad. Its like in those gatorade commercials from the 90s with Michael Jordan, "Be like Mike," remember those? Only in this case it's "Behead like Muhammad!"
