Re: Batsman Suffers Heart Attack While Playing Cricket
I remember my health instructor at school telling us of his friend who ran everyday, kept fit, one day, had a heart attack, hit his head and died. His autopsy showed he had his arteries clogged. (Or something like that.)

You can exercise more as a fast typing internet keyboard warrior than playing cricket, it is more physically demanding! |

Re: Batsman Suffers Heart Attack While Playing Cricket
Sure, but based on the photographic evidence I see here, cricket is far deadlier than being a keyboard warrior! I don't know anyone who has slumped over their keyboard, dead, from excessive on-line excitement. Whereas, I can see quite clearly right here, how deadly the "Sport" of cricket truly is. It's like "Murderball" or some other nefarious sport, played late at night, out of the view of the authorities, by scofflaws who don't care if they die or not. Like "Fight Club" but with bullets. (Figuratively speaking, of course, since cricket players don't carry bullets, and don't use guns in their sport. Also, they don't shoot at each other. But other than those few points, it's certainly a deadly game to play, nearly almost like Russian Roulette, except, once again, there are no guns involved. But there is a cricket ball, a wicket, and a batsman. So I rest my case.) |
