Well in countries where the crocodiles are not a protected species, would they not make a delicious meal? And the hides used in fashion accessories?-boots, belts, hats, purses, billfolds etc? Animal head dried and preserved?

Croc has to be dead. There is only one small rope around his nose and the feet are not secured. If it was alive, one would not be able to sit right next to it. It could be sedated but I doubt this place appears to be that sophisticated.
