Barbados Shooting

Several curious onlookers have gathered near the Church of the Nazarene in Jackson, St Michael, where a 34 year old man was shot in the head.

Police said the man was taken to the QEH in an ambulance.

That shooting incident has caused minor traffic delays along Jackson Main Road.

More details as they come to hand.

UPDATE [4:45 p.m.]:

The gunshot victim has succumbed to his injuries.

Police said they received a report of the shooting around 2:40 p.m. On arrival to the scene, the injured man was seen being treated by ambulance medical technicians for what appeared to be a gunshot injury to the back of the head.

He was rushed to the QEH where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.

Rushed my ass. Probably was an hour before he made it to hospital

We'll never know if that was all just reflex, or if he was trying to call out, "stop pointing your finger, and HELP!"... But I think she was trying to see if his eyes would follow her finger, and it did not appear as if they were. So probably never had a chance.
