A scrap dealer named Sohag (43) was stripped naked and brutally stoned to death in front of Gate No. 3 of Mitford Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Sohag’s friend Mamun said that for the past two to three months, a man named Moin, a local racketeer for a political party, had been demanding a large sum of extortion money from Sohag every month. When Sohag refused to pay, Moin came in front of his shop about two months ago and threatened him—saying, “I’ll deal with you.”

This evening, when they found Sohag alone, Moin and 4–5 others attacked him, stripped him, brutally beat and stoned him to death while public was watching. Then they danced on his corpse.
