Re: Bangladesh: Man Commits Suicide On Facebook Live
This was extremely sad and frightening. Working your butt off your entire life to provide for your children only to see them leave you all alone in the end. I love my children, but I make sure to enjoy life every day and not sacrifice everything so they don’t struggle. I struggled growing up and it made me stronger. I expect the same from them. I also volunteer extensively in my community, so in the event that my children abandon me, I hope that the others I’ve mentored over the years remember me. |

Re: Bangladesh: Man Commits Suicide On Facebook Live
As I've seen death face to face many times in my profession, I can categorically say, this is genuine. I am totally against suicide. Or at least, I used to be. As I've grown older, I have realised that sometimes, there is a very good, realistic reason and in doing so, some people take away that 'long' time suffering they would otherwise have to live through. To suffer through. We, as a global, society tend to judge all too quickly, without looking deeper into the consequences of him 'NOT' taking his own life. We wouldn't let a 'DOG' suffer with cancer, why do we let our fellow humans suffer like we do. There should be 'assisted suicide' available to all. It would spare a LOT of heartache. I have watched too many people die, after constantly, and for a LONG time of suffering, begging to die. He didn't suffer. He had come to terms with his life and was a proud man, with a genuine heart, who had done all he wanted to. He took his own life because the life he was living wasn't 'substantial' anymore. He was lonely, and sick. A true gentleman. Taking care of business to the last. Goodbye Sir. Until we meet on the other side. Fare well. With respect. |
