Bahujan Samaj Party's Former Leader Found Dead in His Bed Plus a Pistol

India, Mystery shrouds the death of Bahujan Samaj Party's former MLA H. A. whose body was found lying at his residence last Wednesday morning.

A pistol was also recovered from the spot leading the police to suspect it to be a case of suicide.

The body was sent for autopsy and a thorough probe was underway.

The police were also looking into the killing of R., his second wife, who was allegedly murdered by two of her stepsons in New Delhi three years ago.

H. A., who had several criminal cases registered against him, was found dead a day after the death anniversary of his second wife, who was murdered in New Delhi three years back.

Sources said that the family members, who prayed on R's death anniversary on Tuesday, were shocked to find the body of H. A. lying in a pool of blood in his room in Uppercoat area of Bulandshahr on Wednesday morning.

The deceased had bullet injuries and a pistol was found lying nearby.

The family suspects it to be a case of murder but the police are of the view that it is a case of suicide.

Forensic experts were called to collect scientific evidence from the scene of crime that could lead to the sequence of events before the killing.

The police also suspects some foul play as three years back, A's second wife R. (40) was found dead at her New Jafrabad residence in Delhi on October 9, 2015.

H. A. had gone for Haj pilgrimage at that time.

The New Delhi police later claimed that R. was murdered by A's sons from his first wife -- D. and A.

The cops said that duo were helped by their driver N., who was arrested from Ghaziabad three days after the killing.

The Delhi police also said that R. was murdered over a intra-family property dispute.

R's autopsy showed 11 stab and two gunshot wounds.

R. married H. A. in 1990 but the couple did not have any issue.
