Bahrain: Bahraini Protester Burns to Death
While protesting in Bahrain, a protestor gets burned to death while pouring kerosene on tire blocking the road. What crazy is I used to live in Bahrain stationed with 5th Fleet. Bahrain is a small island off the coast of Saudi Arabia connected by a single bridge with Saudi Arabia. Lots of Saudi's would consider Bahrain the "Las Vegas" of the middle east because of the resort hotels, prostitution, and gambling that can be done outside of Saudi Arabia. ![]() U.S. Fifth Fleet (C5F), an Echelon III command, supports all naval operations in the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility (AOR). It encompasses about 7.5 million square miles and includes the Arabian Gulf, Red Sea, Gulf of Oman, and parts of the Indian Ocean. This expanse, comprised of 25 countries, includes Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, and Somalia. |

If stupidity would hurt, the idiot with the lighter would have screamed louder than his burning buddy |
