You'd do the same if a helicopter from a foreign country were strafing your town. They are viewed as the terrorists there. Same thing happened to carpet-bombing crews over Germany in World War II. One had better die in the crash because you'll be facing some seriously pissed-off people on the ground. By the way, it's their country, not ours.
