Automatic Weapon Execution Of Bulgarian Pilot Lyubomir Kostov In Iraq
This video is particularly disturbing, so consider yourself warned. The video opens with the images of the dead flight crew, charred remains clearly visible. One man appears to be partially buried under the ground, possibly due to the impact of the crash. A short distance away the insurgents come across the Bulgarian pilot Lyubomir Kostov, laying in the grass. They tell him to stand up in english, he responds by telling them that, "I can't it is broken". There is a brief exchange and he is pulled to his feet. Despite his injury they force him to stumble a short distance whereupon they begin to yell allah akbar and the man falls in a hail of bullets.  |

The only clue to his nationality that I can see would be his flight suit, but I don't know anything about that stuff. Maybe someone here knows. |

Thanks for the update Durden, I updated the post to reflect the man's name, I figure that is the least I can do to at least give him his identity. In death he has a name, his name was Robert Paulson. |
