Australian Man Dies As His Truck Explodes
Shocking video of the moment a rental truck exploded on a Melbourne road, killing the driver, in 2013. The footage released by the Coroner's Court of Victoria shows the vehicle travelling near Barkley and Gordon streets in Footscray just before midday on December 29. The blast killed driver A.C, 24, who was transporting three LPG cylinders in the rear compartment of the vehicle as he prepared to move house. During an inquest held in March 2017, Victorian coroner Paresa Spanos found the blast occurred when approximately 1kg of leaked gas leaked into the cabin and ignited by a spark from an un-capped 12-volt battery. |

Re: Australian Man Dies As His Truck Explodes
The blue flash makes me think that some of the debris must have hit overhead power lines...........

Re: Australian Man Dies As His Truck Explodes
Not much fire for 3 LPG tanks. They must have stayed intact, and the blast was just from the released gas.

Cute guy, too. A real shame. Had a little too much gas |
