Attempted Robbery Goes Pear-Shaped As Off-Duty Officer Shoots Robber Dead
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic At a takeaway restaurant, three robbers arrived outside, with one of them pointing a gun at the customers - not knowing that one of the customers was an off-duty police officer. The officer responded in kind by firing his weapon, killing one of the robbers in the process. The other two robbers fled on their motorbikes. |

Off duty cop. Haven’t seen one of these in a while. Always enjoyed when there’s someone in an establishment ready for these punk-ass robbers on bikes. |

The Wild Wild West... fast fast fast draw. The perp was still making his flash entrance and hadn't fully unlimbered his weapon when the alert policeman opened fire. You have to be fast, anticipate trouble and shoot first to survive in the jungles that leftists create, like Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha or the ICE officer who made a quick judgement in Minneapolis. I liked how the cop dove behind and used his “Hail, fellow, well met!” civilian acquaintance as cover, do they teach that in Macho Nacho Land? |

Re: Attempted Robbery Goes Pear-Shaped As Off-Duty Officer Shoots Robber Dead
A clear case of excessive use of deadly force. The robber was merely brandishing a gun to intimidate people into giving him their money. He had no intention of shooting anyone who didn't resist. Thus there was no imminent deadly threat, and the cop should be arrested and prosecuted for homicide. That is what would happen where I live. And beside that, the robber was just taking back what he had been screwed out of by the corrupt and prejudiced system. |
