Everything that is factual or objective can be found in the actual video. Nothing else is known about this incident. As a result, every post that follows represents an individual member's interpretation of what they see. Being from Europe, it would be understandable if you thought the debate had something to do with the Second Amendment of the US Constitution. It doesn't. It would also be understandable to assume this a debate between those on the right and those on l the left. While some may feel that is the case, I can assure you it's not. To close, I would describe it as a uniquely American Rorschach test and leave it at that. |

Very possible the shooter won't be charged given the period of time between attempting to invade the dwelling and changing his mind. If the perp had been running for 5 seconds and the homeowner runs halfway into the yard then shoots 20 times that's another matter. Of course a lot depends on the local government, alvin bragg will prosecute anyone except actual criminals. |

Breaking into someone's home is not okay. It looks like they made access, but didn't go in yet. They were on the home owner's property, in the back yard, breaking in. They deserve to be shot! This crime BS has to stop.
