Found the following info about this incident: Background of the incident known as "Vietnamese Butcher": The victim: Nguyễn Xuân Đạt, a 27-year-old Vietnamese man. He had a long history of posting online about his beheading fetish on various extreme fetish forums, which included aliases such as "Dat Beheading". The crime: In February 2025, a person wearing a Guy Fawkes mask beheaded Đạt with a meat cleaver. A "making of" video filmed beforehand showed the two men acting out the scene, suggesting Đạt's knowledge and consent. The distribution: Multiple clips and photos from the event have been available for sale since February 2025 on the dark web and on Telegram channels. The package includes eleven clips and 98 photos, with one source reporting a price of $600 for the complete set. The aftermath: After the beheading, further footage depicted the corpse being professionally butchered, with body parts separated and images of a dish containing unidentified meat. The commercial intent, combined with the victim's apparent consent, has led Vice News and other observers to categorize this as potentially the first verified, commercially produced snuff film. The investigation: Despite some online users attempting to track down the perpetrator and report the case to Vietnamese authorities, the killer's identity and the crime's location remain unknown. |
