Re: Asian Girl Decided to Hang Herself on Livestream
I wonder if she actually meant to commit suicide or was just experimenting with it. So easy to accidentally hang yourself that way, I don't think she knew it would be that quick and immediate once you cut off blood.

Re: Asian Girl Decided to Hang Herself on Livestream
This woman's livestream lasted a total of two hours and was only stopped by the police when they arrived. Is there anyone with a more complete recording of the livestream?

Re: Asian Girl Decided to Hang Herself on Livestream
You raise a good question there... It looked like she *tried* to raise her arm(s) (at the 3:20 mark), yet seemed way too semi-conscious at that point to be able to get any response from her body. After that, I don't think she "gave up" as such, I think she just slipped into unconsciousness, otherwise said as: "the point of no return". In Japanese culture, suicide is largely ingrained (both in modern terms, and traditionally). The concept of pride vs shame, is much larger than "right vs wrong". Take a look at the forest at the base of Mount Fuji, for example. And in saying that, pride vs shame is huge in most East Asian nations, compared to the west (generally speaking). Right and wrong DO certainly exist, but if you shame yourself (let alone, shame your FAMILY)... well... just look at the video... |

Such a shame that someone so young couldn't find a better way to deal with her emotions. Suicide sucks and it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem !!! Seek help... There's always a better way. |

Re: Asian Girl Decided to Hang Herself on Livestream
She says early on “I was wanting to live a bit longer.” I don't think it would make sense to for her say that if she didn’t actually intend to follow through, but who knows
