Shanghai New World Mall, China, announced a horrific suicide yesterday afternoon. A man suspected of having a relationship problem jumped from the 12th floor and fell into the upright glass guardrail in the middle of the atrium. As a result, he was brutally decapitated and divided into 5 pieces. Two feet and one hand are on one side of the glass, and the other hand is connected to the body on the other side of the glass.

According to a report by Duowei News, Shanghai New World also jumped off a building 10 years ago, on May 14, 2008, when a young woman also fell from the 12th floor and was killed on the spot. As for the reason for this incident yesterday, some netizens pointed out that it was a couple who broke up in the mall. At about 3 pm on May 14, 2008, Xinmin.com received a report from netizens that a young woman aged between 20 and 40 was in the New World Commercial Building on Nanjing Road, Shanghai. He jumped from the 12th floor in the square, fell to the ground in the atrium of the first floor, and died immediately.
