Armed Gunmen Killed 3 People and Wounded 2 That Were Sitting Outside
Ecuador. An armed attack left 3 people dead and 2 injured in northern Guayaquil Sunday night. A group of neighbors were gathering outside celebrating someones birthday when armed individuals arrived in 2 cars, a white and a black car, and began shooting at five people, including a teenager. A number of pistol and rifle bullet cases were recovered at the scene. Four people were identified so far, none of whom had a criminal record. |

I cannot understand why people would even hold such a celebration OUTSIDE, ON THE SIDEWALK! Does NO ONE in Central and South America have a back yard they can celebrate in? I go from my car to my house in my front yard. The ONLY time I am out front is on Halloween, to see the kids and the decorations. I tried to think of the last time I did ANYTHING in my front yard, by the street, and all I can think of was "weeding", and that was in the early morning. If a gunman wanted to kill me, (armed or disarmed, as the pictures clearly show!) they would have a LONG wait to do so. BBQ, birthday party, WHATEVER, is ALWAYS in the back yard. Seems like a better idea all the time. Also, the cake wouldn't have wound up smooshed on the ground!  ,I would have been REALLY MAD about THAT! |
