On getting information about the incident, SP Tejaswini G reached the trauma center and inquired about the incident. Angry over the death of the young man, the family staged a sit-in in front of the mortuary demanding the arrest of the accused and refused to accept the body. As the matter escalated, police and RSC personnel from two police stations have been deployed on the spot.

According to the
information, there was an argument between two youths at Wunderpuri Tea Shop on Gole Market of Vyas Colony. During this, Yash Ojha, a resident of Gangashahar, was attacked with a knife. He was stabbed on several parts of his body, including his neck. He was rushed to pbm hospital's trauma centre where he was declared brought dead. Priyanshu, a resident of Subhashpura, who came to the rescue, also suffered injuries. He is undergoing treatment at PBM Hospital. Another youth fled from the spot.

At present, the police are now trying to find out who the attackers were. The police are examining the CCTV footage of the area. It is being told that the police have identified the attackers and are conducting raids to catch them.
