Argument Leads to Murder in Pretoria, South Africa
Black fellow has argument with pot-bellied White fellow in Menlyn Main Shopping Center parking lot, and decides to end the melee with a gun-shot. Update: Police have arrested a man for allegedly killing a person at the Menlyn Maine shopping centre in Pretoria on Monday. The shooting took place in the parking lot. Police spokesperson Brigadier Mathapelo Peters said they had arrested a 45-year-old man in relation to the fatal shooting of another man around midday on Monday. "It is alleged that the deceased was with two other men at Menlyn Maine, when one of them approached the suspect. An altercation ensued between the men. Preliminary reports further indicate that the suspect retreated to his vehicle and returned with a firearm, and fired more than one shot at the deceased who was attempting to diffuse the situation. The man was declared dead on the scene. "Police have seized the firearm used by the suspect for further investigation, while the motive is yet to be determined. The arrested suspect will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court in due course on a charge of murder," said Peters. |

Since when does a black man shooting a white man count as "black on black" crime? To top it off, the guy who was shot was trying to diffuse the situation. |

Re: Argument Leads to Murder in Pretoria, South Africa
For once neither the gunman or victim were black though. I live not far from Menlyn Maine, where this happened. The gunman is coloured and the victim was caucasian. The worst part is, the victim immigrated to Britian just before this happened. He came back for three weeks to fetch his family, and then this happened. Menlyn is generally a very decent area (aside from taxi violence which happens virtually fucking everywhere here). Right across the road from where this had happened is Times Square casino, and Guy Fieri's first restaurant in Africa. |
