It once belonged to Bear Bryant, who received it from singer Bobby Bare, who got it from the owner of the Chicago Bears, who found it on the floorboard of a Stutz Bearcat, where it had been left by Charles John Halswell Kemeys-Tynte, the 9th Baron Wharton.
