They're not "secret police". They're federal agents with identifying patches and badge numbers. With the amount of doxing, threats and shit, it should be no surprise that law enforcement wouldn't want to show their face or full name on their uniform. If cooler heads prevailed and people weren't throwing molotov cocktails and trying to light buildings on fire with people inside them, maybe the conversation would be different. Portland was in flames for almost 2 months before the feds came out to play. If the mayor and the governor want to watch it all burn that's on them, but the moment rioters start messing with federal buildings, the Justice Dept can start playing jacks with their balls. |
