Re: Another Day, Another Electrocuted Indian
Except with THIS game, all you can get is a dead Indian, whereas with the "Claw Machines" you can wind up with a cute toy.

Re: Another Day, Another Electrocuted Indian
Further incidents occurred in Odisha, where two men tragically lost their lives after encountering live electric wires during Ganesh Chaturthi processions. In Cuttack, a student was electrocuted while transferring a Ganesh idol onto a truck. The horrific incident resulted in two other students being severely injured. Another man in Jajpur district also died of electrocution during the Ganesh Chaturthi procession. In Tamil Nadu, two more lives were lost during the immersion process of the Ganesha idol. The chariot carrying the idol came into contact with a live overhead cable, leading to the death of two people and severe injuries to three others. Hyderabad, too, reported cases of electrocution during Ganesh idol immersion celebrations. Two persons, an advocate and an engineering student, were electrocuted at Reddy Colony. The mishap occurred when they accidentally came in contact with an overhead live electric wire while standing on a trolley carrying the idol. etc. etc. |

I think the right theory is your last point But hey, see the bright side, they keep giving us a lot of good content here on DR. Yeah, they have a lot of work to do (better phones and stay steady) but they are moving forward step by step |

Re: Another Day, Another Electrocuted Indian
I think Musk should move all Tesla production to India—the Indians clearly have more than earned it. And give 'em free Teslas too, so they can get to play with the batteries, during the rainy season. Bring over a few Tesla coils too, for good measure, and connect them to the trains' overhead metal swings. Hopefully, these much needed measures will serve to slake the innate Indian thirst for vibrant and personalized electrification. |

Re: Another Day, Another Electrocuted Indian
It’s so common that bystanders don’t even try to grab them and kill themselves too

Re: Another Day, Another Electrocuted Indian
I liked how they just poke him with the big stick until his stiffened, electrocuted corpse sort of works itself loose after trial and error then the body goes bumpity-bump down the steps. Usually they all just stand there watching them fry on top of the big mobile tower-thingies they love so much. It was little different than the usual weekly cooking with Indians show |
