The shotgun is shown when he gets up from the chair and picks it up from the bed, at the beginning of the video. From 0:15 to around 0:19 it's clear to see. About the blood spilling, the heart probably still remains beating for a while and pumping the blood, which explains why it pours like that

Yes, he turned it off himself because he didn't want his audience to see it just hear it. He didn't die alone because if he had killed himself without anyone to witness it, he would feel his death pointless? |

I've looked into this case a little bit, I don't know if many people knew his name, or full name. Plus, in the video it's hard to understand the name he's being called because the parents sound like they have a Chinese accent. I've heard that his name was Winston (sounded like Tristan to me in the video). I happen to think this was a real suicide, but since his full real name wasn't out there it's hard to confirm it via obituary. He did this on April 23, but obituaries usually aren't posted until 2 to 3 days after someone dies. It's hard to confirm it, but its because his name and identity seemed to be not known or used much, if at all.
