Since the Motorola Razr I had back then couldn't even handle email without struggling like a fat man with congestive heart failure going up 3 flights of stairs, I think Snapchat might have actually caused a small fire.

So, any idea when this happened exactly?

On first page it is said 2008, but the article speak about 2018, and apparently the girl was also killed inbetween...

Did these two murders happened since the beginning of this year so?

It happened in January 2018.

The video of the girl dying was on here last year but it was taken off. Here's a link to the video but I'm unable to save it, plus it has a watermark of another site on it so wouldn't be allowed on here anyway.

The girl is just as bad as the fella! She obviously knew he was recording, but as for being shared may have seriously humiliated her! That's a tough enough lesson for such lewdness; but as for execution, no such cause there!

She was the one recording lol duh his hands are on her hips and she’s the one moving the camera around getting the angles

that is one way to look at it. guy's gang must have thought him becoming traitor when he got hitched to a cop's daughter and killed him. and blame it on the cop. two birds in one stone.
