Amusement Park Worker Fatally Struck by Swinging Ride Cabin
Amasya, Turkey A 20-year-old amusement park worker, Burak K., was killed when, after entering a restricted area of a "Kamikaze" ride whilst it was in operation, he was struck and dragged by a swinging ride cabin. Eyewitnesses rushed to aid Burak, who was bleeding heavily. He was transported to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries. Two individuals - park operator F.C., and manager H.N.E. - were detained and remanded in custody as investigations continue. |
