Assisted-dying/suicide should be an inalienable human right and easily available to all (with some reasonable safeguards, of course—as implemented in Zurich/Dignitas, for example).

Dar Robinson was a friend of Burt Reynolds (Burt started his career in Hollywood as a stuntman) and did the falls in the movies Stick and Sharkey's Machine. Burt starred in both movies, and also directed Stick. Sadly, Dar died from injuries performing a relatively more routine stunt. |

Why go to fucking Mexico and do this? Why not at least kill yourself somewhere nice? It’s dangerous there, too. She could have been kidnapped and murdered before she had a chance to kill herself

Probably cold of me to say this, but she should have checked out without traumatizing folks and making a mess for people to clean up. Instead, she could have ocean kayaked with a cinderblock and a length of rope. Feed the fish, nothing to clean up.  |
