US is no paradise either but theres a pretty stark difference between a country with a functioning society and government and a country with nonfunctioning one. In the former violence generally gets monopolized heavily by the government, which in turn means less violence overall on the streets. General principle the weaker the government is, more lawlessness there is. And more lawlessness there is, more random acts of violence on the streets. |
