Colombia, An angry mob ended the life of a 52-year-old man who was said to be responsible for raping his 6-year-old granddaughter.

The man was attacked with blows from a machete that caused his death at the edge of a swamp.

According to some witnesses, the alleged abuser "was being hunted" since March 20, the day on which he allegedly committed the abuse against the child and when he was again seen walking through the sector, some citizens went chasing him.

The man was fleeing and tried to hide at an island that is in the area, but people went to look for him in a boat and they killed him, a witness of the lynching told.

Faced with this fact the Police reported that through videos that were posted through social networks they seek to identify and assist in the investigation to capture the participants of this homicide.

With regard to the minor who would have been sexually abused by her grandfather, members of the Children and Adolescents Police provide help to her and her family. The man who died in the lynching was identified as M. M. P.

I am never impressed with 'alleged' accusations and lynch mobs.

The police were involved. These bloodthirsty degenerates should have apprehended him and waited for the cops to do their jobs.

No questioning, no trial, no jury, no attorney...now no one will ever know whether he was even truly guilty.

Watching a horde of drooling simpletons enact some high-handed retributive display of private justice always terrifies me more than ANY crimes I see perpetrated in photos or videos here.

Rule of Law exists for a fucking reason. Every person involved in this compounded crime needs to be arrested and prosecuted for 1st degree murder. Mob rule solves nothing and only erodes society further.

Whenever people complain about lynching or mob justice in 3rd world countries they don't remember their police don't have access to DNA or the eductions possessed by 1st world inspectors/detectives. Throw in corrupt officials and can't you be surprised when lynching occurs.
