Re: Alleged Bank Robber Shot in His Femoral Artery Dies Later on
There are FAR less vital points in the leg than in the torso or HEAD. Your point is hardly valid. Especially considering that the guys in favour of police brutality are generally not bothered by the suspects being executed in the streets prior to being given a trial and sentence for their alleged crimes. The reason police enthusiasts would be against shooting someone in the leg is certainly not because it's too LETHAL, it'd be because it's not LETHAL ENOUGH. Let's not pretend you are on the suspect's side. That's us Lib-tards side.

Actually your thighs do contain major arteries, bullet hitting them has pretty much the same effect as you getting hit on major arteries in the middle of your body. Majority of gun-related deaths both in civilian life and war are deaths by bleeding to death. Ancient times soldiers did get taught to strike for the thighs since cutting them proper usually ensured the death of the opponent and it was usually less armored than chest and easier to hit than arms or head. So if you really want to shoot "not to kill", then you have to have a good aim and aim even lower than thighs, below the knees as the bleeding is much easier to isolate there. |

It's hard to tell what exactly everyone is saying, but it's clear that everyone including the guy with the gun is yelling for the fugitive to put away his knife. The narrator at the beginning also says that the guy has a knife. He does have something in his right hand and it looks like he's about to try for a stab around 00:21. |
