Alcohol Addicted Man Throws Himself Inbetween Wheels of a Truck Trailer
A 35-year-old man was run over by a truck on Tuesday night (6) in the city of Ibicuí, in the interior of Bahia. Images from a security camera show the exact moment D. B. dos S. throws himself between the rear axles of the trailer. According to the police, at the time of the hit, the vehicle was loaded with eucalyptus and the driver continued to travel quietly to the municipality of Firmino Alves, and at certain moment he was informed by other truck drivers about the incident.  The trucker went to the State Highway Police (PRE) post at Astério Point to inform them that he did not see when the man threw himself under the trailer. Subsequently, the driver came to the police station for clarification. The Civil Police initiated an inquiry to investigate the case. People close to the report reported that D. had problems with alcoholism. He used to throw himself in front of vehicles when not sober.  He even attended an evangelical church in the city to try to quit his addiction.The body was removed to the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) in Itapetinga and after the autopsy examination released to family members. |
