Your personal opinions may be significantly different than people will infer from your first post on this thread, but in a public atmosphere where people will make inferences about your opinion and have strong feelings about them, a comment such as mine can be very useful for guiding the public conversation. Maybe I care what most people will think as opposed to what you actually think. People have often not responded to responses, so the forum would often not know your actual feelings on the matter of RFL-90's ban status and as a consequence would simply be left to make inferences about them. So a groan based on a likely scenario can be beneficial to affecting the forumers' perceptions of general sentiment popularity, and thus public attention and discourse.
I'll remove my groan given the recent public conversation.

War is not a pleasant thing.... it never will be. Anytime I see war footage I'm not as concerned with seeing soldier casualties (from any side) than seeing innocent civilians (women and children) getting caught up in the carnage.
