Exactly. And not only that, but self serving texts which it cannot be debated or denied, were written by the hands of humans wanting to use them over others, not "gods" wanting to guide them to "heaven".

Contrary to what you might think, it's not all Indonesians who act like this. In fact, it's not even most. While close to 85 percent of the people who live here (I am temporarily in Jakarta) are Muslim, there is an extreme faction that behaves like this. Sadly, the police (though they deny it) allow this faction to do whatever it wants. You can check the recent news about Lady Gaga's scheduled concert in Jakarta that was cancelled this week. The extremists protested her coming to Jakarta, and the police refused to issue a permit for the concert, claiming safety issues. Most of the Indonesians that I talk to and associate with and live near are really, really cool people. |
