~Afternoon Murder~
Translated from Folha BV~ November 11, 2020~ A man preliminarily identified as Placido dos Santos Martins was murdered this afternoon(11th) while he was in a convenience store at a washing station. Security camera images showed 2 hooded men arriving, then approaching the man and shooting him in the head, while he was sitting with friends. One of the killers was in a dark shirt, the other in a white checked shirt with blue, the weapon appeared to be a large caliber. A man at the table with Placido was hit by one of the shots in the shoulder and taken to General Hospital of Roraima. Both Military and Civil police were called in for the investigation. Forensics was on the scene and soon afterward the body was removed to the Institute Medico Legal. The victim apparently survived an attempt on his life in 2018...  |
