Aftermath - Worker Was Split in Half By Wire On Highway
A company employee died while carrying out telephone wire maintenance at kilometer 48 of the Anhanguera Highway in Jundiaí, São Paulo state. According to the São Paulo State Transport Agency (Artesp), a vehicle passing along the stretch became entangled in the wiring and the cable hit the victim. With the impact, the victim was thrown against a truck that was stopped on the highway and his body was broken in half. The victim died on the spot and the driver fled the scene without helping the victim. |
