Aftermath of Stabbing Attack in London - 66-Year-Old Woman Dead
Location A 22-year-old man, Jalal Debella, has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a woman who was stabbed near a bus stop in north-west London. The woman, 66, was treated by paramedics at the scene in Edgware but died shortly before midday. A woman working at a nearby hair salon saw the woman stabbed three times by a suspect as he attempted to take her handbag - "The guy was trying to get her handbag but she said ‘no’ and fought back. I saw her pull the handbag twice. He pulled her into the road and stabbed her three times." Another witness claimed that the woman was stabbed in the throat, chin, and twice on her chest. The woman’s murder was London's fifth fatal stabbing in ten days. |
