Aftermath - Pregnant Woman Decapitated After Motorbike Accident
In the town of Tarqui, Huila Department, Colombia, a 21-year-old pregnant woman, identified as D.M.U., was decapitated when a pick-up truck collided with her motorbike. Reportedly, the pick-up's brakes had failed and had crashed into three motorbikes, including D's. A child (age undisclosed) who was riding with D. was injured.

It is not prudent to EVER ride a motorbike at any time during a pregnancy—for this very reason. The death of a pregnant woman and her baby is one of the most horrific things imaginable that can befall a family. Witnessing such a callous injustice darkens the soul and fills one with unspeakable hatred.  I do not even dare to imagine the grief of her loved ones. |
