Aftermath of a Destroyed Ukrainian Punitive Battalion
On the morning of 09/05/14 the DSHRG "Rusich" and DSHRG "Patriots" (RRT "Batman") and other rebels under village "Schastie" destroyed column punitive battalion "Aydar". Once again, battalion suffered devastating losses: According to preliminary data, at least 35 soldiers killed and three captured. |

Would like more details if possible. Usually, punishment battalions were sent into the worst fighting, and if a member survived for a specified time, his offenses were erased and he was just a normal person again. The Germans used this extensively in WWII with their criminal population, to reduce the drain on society and lower the population of criminals in their prisons. Unless "punishment" in this case means a "revenge" battalion to punish the people who support the rebels. Not sure which way this is going, and who should be cheered for. |

Martyrs of Russian aggression probably died trying to defend their country from Putin's mafia.
