Re: Aftermath - Couple Were Killed in Sicario Attack in Peru
Yesterday a couple was shot dead in broad daylight while eating at a restaurant located at an intersection in Lima, Peru. The hitmen arrived on a motorcycle and fired at least 7 times at the victims. The victims were identified as E.T.I, a Peruvian national, and the male as R.A.B, a foreign national. In addition, authorities found a yellow and black motorcycle taxi near the crime scene, believed to belong to the murdered woman. This vehicle was apparently rented by the woman. In the first 101 days of 2025, Peru has recorded a total of 612 homicides, representing an average of more than 6 violent deaths per day, according to data from the National Information System of Deaths. This rate of murders is close to the total homicide figures for 2017, a year marked by high rates of violence. |
