Indians always do it, stand around, watching. I remember 30+ years ago, I was on a bus heading south from Goa. It was night, and we came across a bus on its side, gone off the road. Every guy on my bus jumped up and rushed out, going to help rescue people, I thought…. No, they just stood in a big circle, watching people trapped in the crashed bus, injured people, possibly dead, but nobody helped, nobody did anything. I just sat in my seat leaving the ‘heroics’ to the locals. |
