I remember reading that book by Darwin back in high school! Usually film adaptations lose some of the magic in the process, but that doesn't seem to be the case here at all, and I really like how this adaptation is less about the birds and more about community.

Eventually the same persons getting cured become victims theirselves. Especially if they complain that it is a farce. ~ The witch doctor gets to know his victims beforehand, & present clueless clients, so as to juggle his crimes, by posing as a cure practitioner. |
