Many africans don't know how to swim ! At this time of the year, the coldest Mediterranean sea temperature is about 17-18°C...
I live in France and we hear about new migrants everyday... The government decided to put them in small towns and villages everywhere in the country (like 100 per place). I don't know what's to become.

I think this video is very tragic. I have mixed opinions about migrants. I feel sad for them because they left everything, risked their lives but we can't give them what they need, our people already suffer from the lack of jobs and the bad politic of our government, and at the same time, I wish they stayed in their country because yes, I feel unsafe since we don't share the same culture. But they must be so unhappy to leave the place they lived all their lives...Who knows what will happen tomorrow ? What if a war happens in our developed country ? What if we can't give our kids food everyday ? I assume we would want to leave our beloved country and be welcomed somewhere else...
I feel sad for them.

Apparently something like 70% of black people cant swim, with reasons ranging from denser bones and muscle than white people, to not having access to water. Whatever the reason - most black folk can't swim.
I have a pretty decent amount of muscle and I can assure you I do not float. I can take a full breath and not move and I go straight down. I'd last about 10 min in calm water. So yeah, treading water only works if you're boyent...

Why didn't they help them instead of just pointing on them? Anyhow, here two two fatal incidences come together, people not understanding that going on a cruise with 300 people on a boat for 10 has a great likelyhood for ending bad and a fishermen crew who just don't give a sh*t....
