Well…only if they used the actual dimensions. But they probably grabbed what was available. I don’t think they consulted an 80 year old open source us army field manual for reference. It appears you have a deep interest in this video. Bellingcat is a journalist group out of the Netherlands that analyzes images and videos from war zones among other things. They’ve researched a video of a guy and were able to locate the street he lived on by the type of unique flowers in the background of his video. They’re also heavy into looking at the Ukraine war and identify areas videos were taken with satellite imagery to give precise locations. That’s probably the avenue of granular details you are looking for. I’m sure there has to be some open forums of people doing web sleuthing or primers on how to locate areas in videos, but I’ve never looked. |
