Twin Falls, Idaho. A mass shooting at a newly opened In-N-Out Burger restaurant on Saturday afternoon left at least three people dead and seven others injured, transforming a busy commercial district into an exceptionally chaotic scene, according to local authorities.

The suspected gunman is also deceased, though police have emphasized that his identity and motive remain unverified.

The attack began at approximately 2:29 p.m. MDT in one of Twin Falls' busiest commercial zones on the city's north side. Witness Lane Koehn reported seeing a young man, dressed in dark clothing and appearing to panic, exit a vehicle in the restaurant's drive-through line.

Equipped with an AR-15 style rifle, the shooter began firing randomly into traffic near a nearby stoplight before turning toward the restaurant. Witnesses told he was not very calm and collected, running and slinging his rifle around firing.

According to eyewitnesses, an armed citizen on the scene carrying a handgun exchanged gunfire with the suspect, appearing to force the shooter to flee for cover. Inside the restaurant, panicked customers and employees, incl. an individual waiting for food with her daughters, scrambled for cover under kitchen counters before fleeing the building.

First responders arrived to find multiple victims scattered across the parking lot and surrounding roads. Among the wounded was a young female In-N-Out employee shot through the chest and back, whom coworkers and bystanders frantically treated with first aid until paramedics arrived.

Emergency crews transported the victims to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center, where several remain in critical condition. The hospital temporarily restricted access, requesting that residents avoid the facility unless experiencing a life-threatening emergency.

The restaurant where the tragedy took place had only been open for roughly one week following the chain’s recent expansion into southern Idaho.

The Twin Falls Police Department, heavily assisted by the FBI, has launched a massive investigation into the incident. Investigators are currently tasked with interviewing hundreds of potential witnesses who were in the immediate shopping area at the time of the gunfire.

The suspect's body was recovered near the scene. While In-N-Out President Lynsi Snyder and various initial reports indicate the gunman died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, local police have yet to officially release a definitive cause of death.

Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks assured the community that there is no active, ongoing threat. Authorities also noted that a drive-by shooting reported later on Saturday evening on Trotter Drive was entirely unrelated to the fast-food restaurant attack.

And fyi, guy in bottom vid above was one of two civilians returning fire, forcing him away from drive thru. That's when he nailed the tesla charging station.
Blue tesla had one shot and is critical, (not shown) right tesla, older couple, killed the man, lady critical.
In and out , one dead, young girl and was an employee.
Shooter chickenshitted out, offed himself.
