Acrobat on Bicycle Falls From Tightrope During Circus Show in Russia, Dies
At the Demidov Circus, in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, a Colombian acrobat, identified as 44-year-old Sixto O.C., was killed when, whilst attempting to ride a small bicycle backwards on a tightrope, he fell 20ft into the circus ring with no safety net. He was rushed to a local intensive care facility, but ultimately perished from his injuries. He had been working in Russia for the past eight years. |
