I remember seeing this when it was first broadcast on Boston's Channel 7 6:00 evening news in 1979, just hours after it happened, and before ABC news even was able to break the news. It was shocking, and when they cut back to the anchor at his desk after showing the video, he was visibly shaken and took a long deep breath before he could continue with the evening news. It was pretty intense.
