Sadly, some people actually believe this. There was a woman at the NAS in Fort Worth, TX last year who, while spotting a forklift driver, noticed a 2,000lb pallet of ordinance begin to slide down the incorrectly positioned tines. Believing that women possess superhuman strength in times of dire situations, she positioned herself in front of the pallet and put her hands up to push it back onto the forklift.
