Ecuador. A 89-year-old man lost his life due to recklessness on the part of a driver who hit him, who before fleeing, he dragged the body to the sidewalk.

The event generated consternation among the inhabitants of the Ecuadorian capital, who are crying out for justice in the face of the irresponsibility and cruelty of the driver involved.

The victim was shaking a rug right in the middle of the street, when he was hit by a private vehicle that was driving in reverse and that apparently did not notice his presence.

After having run over him, the driver did not stop to help, but got out of the vehicle and dragged the body towards the sidewalk.

Once he left him lying discreetly, in which two people who witnessed the act approached, the man took the opportunity to flee the place in his car, even after one of them tried to intervene to prevent his escape without any success.

I always drive in reverse with my car turned around facing-forward, perched atop a large electric dolly I made just for this purpose—never had any problems.
