86-year-old Woman Grabbed by an Approaching Train
Vietnam. Today around noon an 86-year-old woman was killed after being hit by a train while crossing the railway tracks. At the time of the incident, the level crossing warning system was operational and the barrier had been lowered to receive the train. Upon spotting the victim crossing the railway tracks from right to left relative to the train's direction of travel, the driver immediately sounded the warning horn and applied the emergency brakes but it was too late. |

Yeah that's a wise angle to cross it. Even when watching with side eye you can't see the train coming... Good riddance.

Senility will do that. I'm 81, but still turn my head and look before crossing streets, train tracks, etc. Relying on peripheral vision is a risky business.

Yes, don't look. If you can't see it, it doesn't exist!
